Safety Assurance

Safety is embedded into the way OIHL prepares and executes work.

The company profile documents safety meetings, daily logs, site equipment placement, PPE requirements and equipment inspection.

Safety assurance

Prepared people. Controlled sites. Inspected equipment.

Personnel follow the guidelines put out by ISO 9002, are trained in basic safety and comply with safety procedures stipulated by client companies.

01

Daily safety meetings

Safety meetings at the beginning of each day cover drills intended to prevent accidents.

02

Daily log sheets

Near misses from the previous day are recorded so situations can be addressed.

03

Emergency readiness

Fully charged fire extinguishers and fully stocked first-aid kits are placed at strategic points.

04

Controlled gas storage

Cutting gas bottles are placed in bottle stands when in use.

05

Personal protective equipment

Safety boots, helmets and glasses are normal attire; hearing, respiratory and fall protection are used where required.

06

Equipment inspection

All equipment owned and used by the company is inspected and certified.

Site-ready culture

Safety procedures are practical, visible and operational.

The documented policy includes harnesses for work at heights, dust masks where particles are present, respirators around toxic fumes and hearing protection around loud machinery.
